Price largely depends on how long you need me for and how far I have to travel. Generally I assume a disco running from around 7PM up to 12:30AM but I can go later if your venue permits. Setting-up and packing up time is around 45 minutes to an hour but I can be flexible about arrival time to ensure I’m up and running and ready for your guests to arrive.
What I absolutely don’t do however is hike the price for weddings – I will quote you the same as I would for any other type of event.
I quote on the basis of a booking fee (to cover travel, setup and packing away time) plus a fixed rate per hour (or half hour) of actual live playing time. I can discount the base charge for very local venues but I may have to quote you a higher booking fee for travelling significantly outside my normal area. If you are running a charity event then my hourly rate can be negotiated. If you have a fully equipped venue and just need a DJ then please call to discuss.
For the quoted price I will supply decks, microphones (wired and wireless), 2 laptops (one for backup), a 2000 Watt high quality ElectroVoice sound system, illuminated DJ booth, disco lighting effects as seen in the website photos, with lasers and smoke/haze effects (if the venue permits). Additionally, subject to available space at the venue and access to power, I can also provide a selection of uplighting effects, which can add additional colour around the room to suit your decor or theme. I will also provide my Public Liability Insurance and PAT certificates to your venue as required.
Payment can be by cash or credit/debit card on the night or bank transfer in advance if you prefer.
